Southeast Flow Cytometry Interest Group Mission Statement

The Southeast Flow Cytometry Interest Group (SEFCIG)

was formed to promote the following in the flow cytometry community:

Interaction in the form of sharing instrumentation and ideas among southeastern researchers,

education opportunities for all students, core managers and researchers.  Provide support for core

managers in all areas including but not limited to troubleshooting instruments, designing

experiments, billing and sign up practices and purchasing equipment.

These goals may be accomplished by an annual meeting that includes a research-oriented symposium,

flow cytometry exhibits and educational courses provided by outside vendors or those within the

southeastern flow community.
